American Airlines Arena
Love sports and entertainment? Dallas sure does. American Airlines Arena is the home of two professional sports franchises and numerous entertainers throughout the year. Klyde Warren Park
Some call this park the “heart of the city” as it is one of the most popular places for residents to relax and get some fresh air. The five acre park in downtown Dallas is active every day and hosts many events including concerts and films outside.

Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center
In 1900, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra was made up of just 40 musicians. It is now one of the nation’s best attracting the most talented musicians to play in this great musical venue. This is a stop that lovers of music and the arts will never forget, perfect for a field trip group.
The George W. Bush Presidential Library
History lovers who visit Dallas need to stop by Southern Methodist University. That is where the George W. Bush Presidential Library is located. The National Archives and Records Administration maintains over 70 million pages of text and 1,200 cubic feet of video records at the museum. The museum also holds 80 terabytes of electronically stored records that include 200 million emails and 4 million photos. Visitors can view it all as they look back on the major decisions and moments from the Bush presidency.
Permanent exhibits are also available and display many artifacts, photographs, documents and videos that look back on Bush’s memorable moments in The White House.
The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Place
On the sixth floor of the former Texas School Book Depository is the JFK and the Memory of a Nation exhibit, which chronicles the assassination of America’s 35th president.
Visitors can tour the museum, see famous artifacts and look down on the assassination site from the window where Lee Harvey Oswald changed history. This historical spot is a must for a field trip.
