TESTIMONIALS
“We booked a private corporate group tour, and thankfully I had no doubts beforehand because of the TripAdvisor reviews. The team did not disappoint. From planning for the composition of our group, to incorporating people’s interests, and then the actual tour, this group was very buttoned up and provided the perfect night for us. Our tour guide, Vanessa, kept the pace and energy of the tour going even though we were a larger group. Everyone had fun, both the out-of-towners and some locals. Highly recommend for off-sites or client meetings.”

“I was recently asked to coordinate a team recognition event for my company and selected the Dallas Food Tour. The team absolutely loved it! It is a great activity for a team event because you have the opportunity to mingle and talk to different people as you take a seat at each restaurant, ride the trolley, or walk to the next location. Our team is from the Southlake area, so few of us had been to any of the restaurants. It was quite fun to be a tourist in our own backyard! I can’t say enough about our fabulous tour guide. She went out of her way to accommodate our team and make sure that everyone enjoyed a great experience and was satisfied with the food. She had a fun, positive attitude and kept the event moving at a leisurely, but good pace to keep it interesting. The restaurants were great and the food was terrific and each one was unique and fun. I would definitely recommend this activity for large groups and think it would also be fun to take out of town guests as well.”

“Working with Food Tours of America has been an unexpected delight! The great tasting food, combined with the knowledge and passion for Dallas, makes the experience a “can’t miss opportunity.” Our clients enjoyed each moment of the tour and provided positive feedback on the professionalism of the tour guide, the wonderful tasting portions of food provided by each restaurant, and the city of Dallas.”

“Our group had an amazing time with Food Tours of America! Not only was the food amazing, our tour guide Jim was great too! He shared tons of great information about Dallas history…even the Dallas natives left with some fun facts about our beloved city! I would definitely recommend this experience to other corporate groups looking for a fun, unique team building experience.”

“I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our tour on Saturday! Except for one person, no one there had been on a food tour before (including me) and it was a great first experience. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and really made everyone feel at ease very quickly. The food was great, and it is definitely something I would want to do again! Our clients really enjoyed themselves.”

“Working with Food Tours of America in Dallas was a wonderful experience! The entire team was so accommodating to our large group and worked hard to make sure all our guests (even those with dietary restrictions) had a fantastic time. It was one of the most pleasant experiences I have had working with a tour company. All our guests spent the rest of the week raving about their experience.”

“We host a company annual conference in different cities every year. This year our conference was held in Dallas, TX. One of the events that we host is a welcoming event the night before our conference. We have done many different types of events. This year we decided to go with Food Tours of America and provide our attendees the experience of food and a city tour of the area. Food Tours of America did an amazing job with this adventure for us. Our hostess, Vanessa, went above and beyond. She was extremely knowledgeable with the surroundings and the restaurants. She took the time to make sure everyone was happy. Our experience was top notch. Everyone in our party raved about the evening. They are still talking about it today. It really was the best experience for a city tour of restaurants. We look forward to coming back to Dallas.”

“My co-worker and I chose this activity for a company outing. I found Food Tours on the Internet and was not was entirely sure what to expect. I was very impressed with the professionalism and knowledge displayed by the tour guides. Many of our team members grew up in Dallas or live in Dallas and thought the historical facts were very interesting. The tour was well organized and lasted about 2.5 hours. The tastings consisted of a variety of appetizing foods from local restaurants and the portions were very generous. I would recommend this tour for residents or visitors who want to have a different experience while eating their way through Uptown.”
