Part-Time Tour Guide:

Do you love food? Can you command a crowd, make them laugh, and have everyone literally eating out the palm of your hand? If so, then this job is for you! Food Tours of America is seeking passionate, highly energetic and responsible people as Tour Guides. Leading a food tour is a combination of quick thinking on your feet, advanced storytelling, and herding cattle from one location to the next. We provide you all the training and get you up to speed. Once you’re up and leading a food tour, you’ll be amazed that you’re getting paid handsomely for something so ridiculously fun and rewarding. Positions are part-time and/or on-call. Applicants living close to/in Dallas, Fort Worth, Grapevine or Las Vegas will be considered. Self-employed individuals and/or flexible schedules preferred. Both weekday and weekend positions available. Our walking tours run year round.

Characteristics We Look For:

This is a part time, flexible position perfect for someone with other work/pursuits. Set your availability and work when you want!

You should be comfortable with mobile technology and thinking on your feet. You should also be able to stand for long periods of time and walk distances easily. Our ideal teammate is able to work independently and solve problems not heir own as well as having a positive, team attitude. Consistent, reliable timeliness and the ability to manage a flexible schedule are key. Our foodie adventures take place 7 days a week, with start times between 9AM and 6:30PM.

Audition Process

  1. After a quick phone interview, you will be invited to submit a short audition video.
  2. Next, you’ll be invited to watch a live tour in action and chat with a seasoned tour guide.
  3. Up next, get hired, schedule your training, and begin your tour guide adventure.

Administrative Assistant:

Do you have a passion for food, hospitality, and managing behind-the-scenes operations? Food Tours of America is searching for an organized, responsible, and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our team of tour guides and keep our operations running smoothly! This role is crucial in ensuring our tours remain a fun, high-quality experience for our guests, and you’ll play a vital role in making that happen. If you enjoy multitasking, are detail-oriented, and love supporting a team with administrative and scheduling tasks, this could be the perfect fit for you.

Characteristics We Look For:

This is a part-time, flexible position ideal for someone looking to complement other commitments or work pursuits. The role involves schedule management, tour logistics coordination, and providing key support to both our tour guides and management team. We are seeking remote applications. Self-motivated individuals with a flexible schedule are preferred. Availability for both weekdays and weekends is required, as our tours run year-round.

  • Organized and Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage schedules, maintain databases, and handle the administrative tasks that ensure tours run smoothly.
  • Flexible and Reliable: Able to adapt to changing needs, solve problems independently, and reliably meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable with Technology: Proficiency in managing scheduling software, mobile devices, and communication platforms.
  • Positive, Team-Focused Attitude: Friendly, professional, and eager to support the team with a “can-do” mindset.
  • Customer Service Savvy: Confident in assisting with guest inquiries, coordinating special requests, and managing last-minute adjustments to tours.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Clear, timely communication with tour guides, restaurant partners, and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain tour schedules, coordinate guide availability, and ensure guides are prepared and on time for each tour.
  • Manage administrative processes, including guide scheduling, check-ins, and feedback collection.
  • Serve as a liaison between Food Tours of America and our partner restaurants, assisting in establishing and maintaining positive relationships.
  • Assist with onboarding new tour guides, including coordinating interviews and training sessions.
  • Support management in ensuring that operational processes run smoothly and guest experiences are consistent.
