Most nights, you can see talented professional musicians playing an eclectic mix of rock, country, and folk, but on Monday nights, they open the stage to professionals and amateurs alike. Tuesday: Dance Lessons at Round-Up Saloon
Recognized by the Dallas Observer as the best place to scoot your boots, Round-Up Saloon always promises a great time. If you want to up your game on the dance floor, Round-Up’s dance lessons are the thing to do. Including both couples dance and line dancing, these lessons are free and fun! The lessons start at 8:30 PM and once they’re over, the floor opens up, and you can show off your new two-steppin’ skills under the light of their LED Texas. Wednesday: See A Show at Dallas Theater Center

Thursday: Good Luck Karaoke at Twilite Lounge
Twilite Lounge is a laidback bar and music venue in Deep Ellum, but on Thursday nights, it turns into the location of some of the best karaoke in the city. Good Luck Karaoke, a party entertainment service, runs four hours of wicked karaoke where anyone can get up on stage and perform their favorite songs. If you’re looking for a place to just let go and enjoy yourself, karaoke at Twilite Lounge is the place for you. Even if you’re not a big karaoke fan, after a couple tasty drinks, you may find it hard to resist the urge to sign yourself up and have a great time.

Friday: Late Nights at the Dallas Museum of Art
Every third Friday of the month, the Dallas Museum of Art stays open until midnight for a multitude of special events as well as general museum viewing. There are performances, special film screenings, tours, concerts, and many other things, all only done during these Late Nights. In addition, you can explore the museum and all its exhibits at your own pace. This is definitely one of the classiest events available in Dallas, and you can support unique, wonderful artists. Saturday: Concert at The Prophet Bar
In the slightly grungy, somewhat divey atmosphere of The Prophet Bar, great music is played. Most artists performing at The Prophet Bar are relatively new to the music scene and relatively unknown, meaning that you get to see some great up-and-comers. The venue also brings in touring artists looking for a unique place to perform in Dallas, and this Deep Ellum joint definitely delivers that. Sunday: Garden Tea at the Dallas Arboretum
Sometimes you just want to feel fancy, and for those times, there’s Garden Tea at the Dallas Arboretum. This is a three-course tea service presented in the beautiful DeGolyer Tea Room. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the arboretum, planted with seasonal flowers and foliage, you can enjoy soups, tea sandwiches, and sweets like scones, and, of course, tea! This event does require reservations at least 26 hours in advance, so make the choice to visit a couple days before!
